
Nick Mang, PT, DPT, Cert. DNDoctor of Physical Therapy, Clinic Director
Nick graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with his doctorate degree in Physical therapy. He finds great pleasure in serving those with orthopedic and neurological conditions. In addition to providing an array of manual therapy techniques, Nick is certified in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Dry needling is an evidence-based skill set that has proven to decrease pain and restore muscle, joint, and connective tissue quality and function. Nick is also skilled in assessment of foot and ankle dysfunction and in corrective custom foot orthotic fabrication. Many patients have found great relief from chronic foot/ankle pain from these insoles. When Nick is not at work, you can find him playing his trumpet or piano, serving his community, and enjoying lake life with his family.

Jenny Alderson, PT, DPT, NCSDoctor of Physical Therapy, Neurological Clinical Specialist
Jennifer Alderson "Jenny" earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2011. She is passionate about helping persons with neurological conditions maximize their functional mobility so that they can reach their goals and experience high quality of life. She has experience working in neuro-rehab and tailoring exercises to meet the needs and abilities of patients in a variety of settings both domestically and internationally including: inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, in home therapy, and *her very favorite setting* outpatient rehab. In 2013, Jenny's drive to grow in her ability to provide excellent care to patients with neurological conditions led her to further pursue this passion by becoming board-certified (through the American Board of PT Specialists) as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Additionally, Jenny is certified in Parkinson's Wellness Recovery, an evidence-based approach for slowing the rate of progression of Parkinson's Disease. She has also participated in advanced training for the treatment of various vestibular conditions. If you are struggling with dizziness, unsteadiness or general immobility, or if you've been diagnosed with stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre, concussion, or another neurological condition, Jenny would love to work with you! In her free time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter while enjoying the mountains, rivers and waterfalls of WNC, traveling the world, artful baking, and capturing meaningful moments through child and family photography.

Emily Fleming, DPTPhysical Therapist
Emily received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise & Sport Science from Elon University before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Emily began her physical therapy career working in skilled nursing facilities where she developed a passion for helping the geriatric population. She carries this post-acute care experience into her outpatient practice. Emily has experience treating a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, balance and gait impairments, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She is certified in dry needling and spinal manipulation through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. When not working Emily loves spending time with her husband and 2 sons, hiking, cooking, and traveling, recently visiting Portugal and Scotland.

Reed Powell, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Reed received his Physical Therapy Assistant degree with Cum Laude honors from South College in Asheville, NC in September of 2022. He grew up in the small town of Vidalia, GA, where he graduated high school. Attending the local community college where he received his Associate Degree in Business Management. His love of playing sports when growing up, led to multiple injuries that required surgery and physical therapy. This became his inspiration to pursue physical therapy and discovered it to be a great fit. Reed genuinely enjoys the work that he does and seeing patients progress and grow on their journey to recovery, just as he did. He enjoys his job so much that he is currently in the process of obtaining his bachelor's degree in the hopes of applying and getting accepted into a doctorate program in the future. In his free time, he maintains an active lifestyle. Reed enjoys going on hikes, listening to live music, going to the gym, and being a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner. He looks forward to progressing as a clinician and person using hard work and determination as his vehicle.

Tyler Arrington, PTA

Tyler was born in Hendersonville, NC and has always had an affection for the mountains of western North Carolina. He is a graduate of Southwestern Community College's Physical Therapy Assistant program. When not in clinic, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, Stephanie and his two children Parker and Maggie. He enjoys sports, especially the UNC Tar Heels, and fishing when he gets a chance. With additional training in a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions, Tyler is happy to offer high quality care for you and your family.

Rachel Rogers, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Rachel Rogers earned her associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from South College in Asheville, NC. She has found her purpose in helping people achieve their wellness goals including orthopedic and neurological conditions so they may live their life to the fullest. As a certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor, she uses strength, functional movement, mobility and breathing skills with patients for a well-rounded approach. Rachel is grateful to call the Blue Ridge Mountains her home after years of traveling and living in Europe and up and down the Eastern seaboard in her former life as an elementary school teacher and Environmental Science/Policy Educator. When she is not working, you can find her in nature exploring the woods, rivers and waterfalls with her family and friends.

Annie Hall
Physical Therapy Aide
Annie Hall, Physical Therapy Aide and general hostess. Aside from assisting the therapists with patient care, she is responsible for making sure everyone starts their session with a smile and a positive thought. Annie's had many jobs over her lifetime, but this is her favorite and most satisfying. In her spare time she enjoys time in the woods and rivers, and playing games with family.

Vicki takes immense pride and joy in welcoming patients to PRO as well as preparing treatment areas for physical therapy. In her free time she likes to exercise, spend time outside with her husband and black lab, and traveling.
